Medical Division

Utilizing research based testing protocols, we evaluate the cognitive status of patients with a variety of dementias including Alzheimer’s disease, frontotemporal dementia, and Parkinson’s disease, general medical conditions, cerebrovascular disease or stroke, brain tumors, hepatic and renal encephalopathies, HIV and AIDS, toxic encephalopathies, electrocution, pre and post-surgery conditions, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, and poisoning.  Our doctors are also able to make determinations of competency and disability status.

Our doctors are experts in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of traumatic brain injury.  We assess people injured in automobile accidents, work incidents, falls, and sports-concussion injuries.  Consistent with published research, most trauma patients are typically experiencing a temporary condition called Post Concussion Syndrome.  They require understanding, education, and highly specialized counseling.  By correctly diagnosing their condition, and directing their treatment appropriately, most of our patients return to normal functioning within a short time.
